The City Gate Messianic Bible Study Psalm 119Part 013

Psa 119:11 I treasure your word in my heart, so that I won't sin against you.

The Word of God is the revelation of His person and will. It is the duty of man to treasure it up where it can be preserved most safely.
"Your Word have I hid in my heart,” which implies 1. Understanding it.
⁣This video covers what we teach about anointing the sick for divine healing. The Bible says that God promises to heal His people if they obey Him and have faith in His Word, therefore, the elders of the church should anoint the sick with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick.

*** This is not my video, but I believe it is worth watching as he covers some interesting points in this short video. ***

Every language today has their own way of saying the name ‘Jesus’—English speakers say Jesus, Spanish speakers say /xeˈsus/, German speakers say /ˈjeːzʊs/, French speakers say /ʒe.zy/, Chinese speakers say 耶穌 yēsū, Korean speakers say 예수 [je̞sʰu], and Arabic speakers say يسوع [jasuːʕ]. But how was it pronounced in the first century? Or, in other words, how did Jesus pronounce his own name? Many different websites out there have all sorts of reconstructions of how Jesus’s name should be pronounced or how Jesus’s name was pronounced in ancient times. But let’s look together at the first-century evidence to find out how it really was pronounced. For the full blog post on this topic (with references), see https://biblicalhebrew.com/how....-did-jesus-pronounce FREE video lessons in Biblical Hebrew and related languages, visit https://www.BiblicalHebrew.com.To follow us on Facebook, go to: https://www.facebook.com/bibhebrew.To follow us on Twitter, go to: https://www.twitter.com/bibhebrew.

Identity, Grace, Forgiveness and God Math. The portion begins with the dramatic unveiling of Joseph's true identity and his reconciliation with his brothers. It then proceeds to tell the story of the migration of Jacob's family to Egypt and the rest of the famine years. This Torah portion begins to set the stage for the Egyptian captivity of the sons of Jacob.

⁣i would like to invite you to observe the biblical commanded new year in
the spring month of Aviv, instead of the ritual for Janus.

Exodus 12:2 New Living Translation

brenner mechanical translation of the bible.

Are you aware of reformation 2.0? The holy spirit ruack hakodesh has
compelled and enabled people all over the world to live by every word
that proceeds from the mouth of yahuah (Matthew 4:4) as Paul and the
prophets said that the new covenant is: Hebrews 8:10, Hebrews 10:16, Jeremiah 31:33 and Ezekiel 36:25-27
New Living Translation 25 “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. Your
filth will be washed away, and you will no longer worship idols. 26 And
I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will
take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive
heart. 27 And I will put my Spirit i....n you so that you wi

it only takes a moment for the serpent or a pastor to say that we will
not surely die for violating the laws of yahuah given to us, but it can
take hours to explain the original context and meaning of the bible and
to learn to read and follow the bible takes a lifetime. it only takes a
moment to fall, but a lifetime to learn obedience.

A shorter video on what the bible says about obeying the entire Bible,
can be seen at
https://www.mindblowingidea.co....m/thelawfortoday.htm

The bible says that there are great blessings for those who obey the
Bible. Will you partner with the savior to bring heaven to earth by
living by every word that proceeds from the mouth of yahuah and
spreading the gospel of salvation in yahushuah hamashiach as the first
century church did?

This video has been produced to honor a dear friend of us, David Fraher.
The song in the video was not part of our repertoire, We didn't think to perform it and we even didn't think to share it online.

David and his team liked it and shared it on Arts Midwest youtube channel.
Surprisingly the video turned to be our second most viewed video.
It reached over a half million views and got lots of nice comments.

So perhaps it is the time for this video to be shared on our youtube channel.
An old Israeli song performed by the pioneering youth movements that spread during the 1940s and 1950s.( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAP5k6_z-dg)
lyrics from Jewish sources. - The book of Samuel 1, composers: Matityahu Shalem, Eliyahu Gamliel.

Thanks to Avri Borochov who made this song fresh, cool and attractive once again.

King David -

David is described in the Hebrew Bible as the second king of the United Kingdom of Israel and Judah. In the biblical narrative, David is a young shepherd who first gains fame as a musician and later by killing Goliath.

Historians of the Ancient Near East agree that David probably existed around 1000 BCE, but that there is little that can be said about him as a historical figure.

David is richly represented in post-biblical Jewish written and oral tradition, and is discussed in the New Testament. Early Christians interpreted the life of Jesus in light of the references to the Messiah and to David; Jesus is described as being descended from David. David is discussed in the Quran and figures in Islamic oral and written tradition as well. The biblical character of David has inspired many interpretations in fictional literature over centuries.

William Cowper authored this hymn in the 1700s. A prolific poet, he would write a poem for John Newton in support of the Abolitionists. This poem would later be quoted by Martin Luther King Jr. We add some ethnic sounding instruments including our ever beloved Native American flute to this amazing song.

⁣Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him.
Romans 6:8-9 ESV

What does it mean that Christ was raised from the dead? Can he have a physical body in Heaven? What exactly is Heaven?

The Common Sense Bible Study crew wades into some deep waters in this video while I repeatedly say "I don't know".
