SYNOPSIS: today’s lesson is about preparing for tomorrow holy day of Shavuot. Why, so that you can comprehend what the spoken and written word is all about. For on the Day of Judgment people will have to give account for every careless word they have spoken. What does YESHUA mean by these words? I though YESHUA said we are living under grace. We will also study what a Ketubah is and how it applies to the gentiles and the Jews. We stand by and pray that you give us strength to keep in our lives your Katubah and what are vows mean to you. <br />

But how was it pronounced in the first century? Or, in other words, how did Jesus pronounce his own name?Many different websites out there have all sorts of reconstructions of how Jesus’s name should be pronounced or how Jesus’s name was pronounced in ancient times. Or do you not know, brothers—for I am speaking to those who know the law—that the law is binding on a person only as long as he lives? For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. Related passages from the Old Testament (re the High Priest and levirate marriage) as well as the Greek word for a woman "which has a husband" (KJV) in Romans 7:2 shed significant light on Paul's meaning in this passage. Here's a hint: It does not say that the Law dies or that the commandments in the Law are not for all Christians today. It's about authority relationships, not the applicability of Torah.
