SYNOPSIS: In the book of Acts chapter 10 Kefa (Peter) had some doubts about going to the gentiles. In more than one place in Torah it tells us; that we are forbidden from associating with the goyim. So was it biblically correct for Kefa to go to the gentiles? Was he breaking YEHOVAH’S commandments? In chapter 25 of the Book of B’midbar (Num) those men who associated with those gentiles YEHOVAH got so angry HE said hang them facing the sun. With that being said is correct that when YESHUA said it is finished HE really did mean the law? <br />

Vayikra (Lev) 18:3 you are not to engage in the activities found in the land. B’midbar (Num) 33:50-53 you are to expel all the people living in the land. Acts 10. B’midbar (Num) 25:1-5 they invited the Hebrew men. D’varim (Deut) 4:5-8 when they hear of these laws. Mattiyahu (Mat) 28:19-20 no contradiction for the purpose is Torah based. Sh’mot (Ex) 12:48-49 if he wants to. Roman 11:11-22 one nation under God. Yechezk'el (Eze) 18:4-20 your sins are your own. <br />

Scripture: Sh’mot (Ex) 12:1-4 we know when this is.<br />

SYNOPSIS: For today’s study of the WORD we are going to look at biblical world changing events. From big nation wide events to individual events. How an event could involve just two people but still touch all eternity. We are going to look at our individual role in these world changing examples. We are going to see how a great shout changed the lives of over 2,500 people. Are you ready for the world changing event heading this way?<br />

HASHABBAT LESSON: YOU WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. Sh’mot (Ex) 12:1-4 we know when this is. Sh’mot (Ex) 12:6-17 kills the 1st born. Mattiyahu (Mat) 26:19-21 when evening came. Mattiyahu (Mat) 26:26-31 the 15th day for it has turned to night. Mattiyahu (Mat) 26:69-74 a personal world changing event. Mattiyahu (Mat) 27:15-17 the choice for all. Mattiyahu (Mat) 27:57-60 towards evening. Mattiyahu 27:45-46 during the afternoon bread offering. Y’hoshua (Josh) 6:1-16 the shout. Luke 2:4-20 a world changing event that started with just 2 people. B’resheet (Gen) 3:4-6 this world changing event started with failure to believe the word. Mattiyahu (Mat) 2:1-3 a few years later adding to the world changing event. 1 Kefa (Peter) 4:17 a world changing event. <br />

This video covers what we teach about anointing the sick for divine healing. The Bible says that God promises to heal His people if they obey Him and have faith in His Word, therefore, the elders of the church should anoint the sick with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick.
Joe Aymond grew up in Port Barre, LA where his dad began teaching and exposing him to music at a very young age. In 1996, Joe joined together with 4 friends and formed a worship band. With the invaluable support and direction of their youth pastor, Chris Burney, Xtreme Faith traveled from Louisiana to Florida for the next 3 1/2 years leading worship for youth ministries, camps, and retreats. During this time, Joe felt the unmistakable call to ministry.
In 2000, Joe moved to DeRidder, Louisiana, where he traveled, singing and leading worship for Evangelist Kelly Hendren. In 2001, Joe became the Student Pastor at Grace in DeRidder. During his 14 years at Grace, Joe has preached, taught, and led worship all across the country.
In mid-2006, the Father began speaking to Joe and disturbing his peace. Joe began digging and studying everything he could to find out what the Father was teaching, where He was guiding him, and what direction he was to take. Joe and his little family studied and observed Torah personally for several years until the Father called them to step out from their church staff position in 2015. After taking time to seek the Father on what to do next, Out of Ashes Ministries was born. OAM continues to grow, being a bridge for those whom the Father is awakening, and providing a safe and healthy place to come together to learn and grow in The Way of Messiah Yeshua, the Torah.
Joe currently resides in Rosepine, LA with his beautiful wife Heather and four children: Gabriella, Genevieve, Josiah, and Asher.

Did we inherit guilt from Adam? Or just an evil inclination? What is sin? What is the remedy for sin and guilt and the evil inclination?
On December 6, 2023, the Common Sense Bible Study community was live with Rob Vanhoff to talk about Romans 5:12-21 and the doctrines of Original Sin. I say "doctrines" (plural), because there is significant disagreement among theologians about what this actually means. This was an amazing opportunity to have a conversation with a really smart guy with a deep understanding of the Scriptures and its ancient Jewish context.
A lifelong resident of the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Rob loves Yeshua (Jesus) and teaches the Bible in many facets: cultural contexts, ancient languages and translation, interpretation history, and most importantly what it means to be a disciple of the Messiah today. His purpose is to bring accuracy and clarity to the articulation of the Gospel message within its “full Bible” framework. Rob has an MA in comparative religions and a BA in Near Eastern languages and civilizations.
Rob is currently an instructor for TorahResource Institute, where he teaches courses on the 2nd Temple Period, Rabbinic Literature, Judaism, Koine Greek, and Aramaic. He has also written articles and presented on ancient Jewish scribal tradition, the Masorah of the Hebrew Bible, and midrashic literature.

The Masoretic Rabbinic version and the Textus Receptus by Erasmus contradict the original Hebrew Scriptures preserved in the Septuagint. We prove from Scripture that Yahushua and the disciples all used the LXX and the full Hebrew scroll from which the LXX was translated. The devil has lied to us who desire a full Hebrew walk, by having us chase a falsified and redacted Hebrew knowing we would bow at the feet of anything Jewish.
Through the LXX we can recover the pre-Jewish and Christian era Hebrew and avoid much leaven-error. Fasten those seat belts for this extended series!
We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things. Do you suppose, O man—you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself—that you will escape the judgment of God?

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?
