Our new song has dropped just in time for #Passover tonight! In this song we speak of the original Exodus from Egypt and also the Lamb of God who came to fulfill the prophetic promise of this feast.
Or do you not know, brothers—for I am speaking to those who know the law—that the law is binding on a person only as long as he lives? For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress.
Romans 7:1-3 ESV
Related passages from the Old Testament (re the High Priest and levirate marriage) as well as the Greek word for a woman "which has a husband" (KJV) in Romans 7:2 shed significant light on Paul's meaning in this passage. Here's a hint: It does not say that the Law dies or that the commandments in the Law are not for all Christians today. It's about authority relationships, not the applicability of Torah.
Deuteronomy 25:5-10 and Leviticus 21:4.

Many historians and archeologists assume that the Bible isn't true and spend their entire careers trying to disprove it. They have persuaded a great many people who don't want to believe. Unfortunately, they've caused a lot of good people who *do* want to believe to doubt the Bible and therefore their own faith. If the Hebrews were never really in Egypt, how can there have been an Exodus? If there was no Exodus, how can there have been a Passover? If there was no Passover, how can we believe anything else in Scripture?
Dr. Douglas Petrovich is not like those archeologists. He has spent the last 16 years proving the Scriptures from the physical evidence left behind by the people who lived and wrote them.
Dr. Petrovich currently serves as adjunct Professor of Biblical History and Exegesis at Brookes Bible College, which is located in St. Louis, Missouri. He teaches remotely and resides in Richmond, Texas. From 2017–2022, he served as full Professor of Biblical History and Exegesis at The Bible Seminary, in Katy, Texas. Professor Petrovich was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. He has lived in California (twice), Illinois, Siberia (Russia), Toronto (Canada), and Texas. He is passionate about pouring his life into those whose lives God has given him the opportunity to influence, whether in the setting of the local church or an academic environment. He is committed to modeling his life after that of the incarnate son of God, Jesus Christ, albeit quite imperfectly. He has been married to his wife, Sherri, since 1991, and they have three adult children.
He has taught over 50 different courses in his teaching career, which includes courses in biblical studies (especially biblical languages and exposition) and in ancient Near Eastern history and archaeology. His Ph.D. includes a major in Syro-Palestinian archaeology, a 1st minor in (Middle and Late) Egyptian language, and a 2nd minor in ancient Near Eastern religions. He has participated in archaeological digs at Hazor, Tell Tayinat, and Shiloh, which reflects his love for seeing how ancient history converges with the events and people of the Bible.
Professor Petrovich has been an ordained pastor since 1998, having begun as an assistant pastor at a church in Glendale, California. For the majority of his 10 years in Siberia, he served as a church-planting pastor in the city of Berdsk. He has appeared in two documentary films, the more recent being Patterns of Evidence: The Moses Controversy (2019), which features his groundbreaking discovery that connects the world’s oldest alphabetic script with the Israelites’ initial national script. The earlier film in which he appears is entitled Is Genesis History? (2017), which became the most watched documentary film on Netflix during the summer of 2018. In that film, he identifies the correct location for the city of Babel in Genesis 11, as well as its famous tower.

"THE APRIL 8, 2024 SOLAR ECLIPSE ACROSS AMERICA." written, produced, narrated, by George Lujack of Scripture Truth Ministries.
Messianic Torah Portion Vayigash (and he approached)
The Torah portion is about Joseph’s revealing of himself to his brothers and bringing Israel into Egypt. The parallels between these scriptures and the New Testament are plentiful. Our discussion covers the despair of Jacob and parallels this to the grief of Yeshua’s disciples and the despair of the world as it awaits Yeshua’s return. We also discuss the joy Jacob experiences when he learns Joseph is alive and compare this to the resurrection of the Messiah. The theme established that Joseph’s brothers meant it for evil when they sold him into slavery but God meant it for good compares remarkably with the resurrection of the Messiah and the sermon given by Peter in Acts 2. We also touched on topics of end times studies and how the concept of the Noahide laws are folly.

Are circumcision, the Levitical priesthood, and sacrifices still relevant for believers today? These are massive, hot-button topics that have sparked debates for centuries. They are emotionally charged, baggage-laden questions, and they're not easy to answer!
It seems to me, though, that most of the confusion stems from a misunderstanding of covenants. In this series, I'm going to talk about what covenants are and aren't. How they are established, how they interact with each other, and how they end.
Part 1 will set the stage for the conversation and provide some helpful guidelines for studying and contemplating any difficult and emotional Biblical topic.
Part 2 will talk about the 8 basic elements of a divine covenant and introduce the covenants that God has made with Israel.
Part 3 will zoom in on some details about how covenants work. How do they start and end? How are covenants inherited and how do the covenants of Israel impact Gentile believers? How do God's covenants relate to his Law?
Part 4 returns to the three questions that sparked this study. What do circumcision, the Levitical (Aaronic) priesthood, and sacrifices have to do with us today and the New Covenant?
Part 5 pulls it all together, describing how all of God's Law infuses all of his covenants and how they work together to build the mature relationship that he wants with his people.
If you find yourself getting a little hot around the collar at any point, go back and rewatch video one. Don't let your emotions control your ability to evaluate an opinion that runs counter to what you've been taught before.
I'm not a professional video producer. I don't have a studio or any professional recording equipment. I hope you'll excuse any flaws in the presentation.

Romans 16:17-18 ESV
17 I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them.
18 For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.
Religious people of all denominations are too quick to either label every different opinion as heresy or to quit one church for another as soon as the pastor says something they don't like. We really need better coping skills.
I have been thinking of common disagreements in three categories: Discordant, Divergent, and Academic. I've also been thinking of people who unintentionally create division in three categories: Sensationalists, Closed-minded, and Obsessive.

International conspiracy, global domination, lies, deception, extortion - sounds like a James Bond movie, doesn't it? Actually, it's in the pages of the Scriptures as they refer to the End of Days that could be quickly upon us all.
No one can or will be excluded from the events that have been prophesied to happen. A world leader is coming who will draw everyone to him so that, if it were possible, even the very elect would be deceived. He is infamously known as "The Anti-Christ (or Anti-Messiah)."
Rabbi Steve Berkson lays out very clearly in this teaching the how, what, and why to being able to recognize this one who will be the most evil person of all time and, just like a James Bond movie, there is a twist at the end.

A man gave a large banquet and invited many people. When it was time for the banquet, he sent his servant to tell those who were invited, ‘Come! Everything is ready now.’
“Everyone asked to be excused. The first said to him, ‘I bought a field, and I need to see it. Please excuse me.’ Another said, ‘I bought five pairs of oxen, and I’m on my way to see how well they plow. Please excuse me.’ Still another said, ‘I recently got married, and that’s why I can’t come.’
“The servant went back to report this to his master. Then the master of the house became angry. He told his servant, ‘Run to every street and alley in the city! Bring back the poor, the handicapped, the blind, and the lame.’
“The servant said, ‘Sir, what you’ve ordered has been done. But there is still room for more people.’
“Then the master told his servant, ‘Go to the roads and paths! Urge the people to come to my house. I want it to be full. Lk 14,16-23

The riches of Exodus 4
In our society, we're taught that in order to be successful, we must be busy. Well, let's chat about that concept for a few.
Please forgive the hiccup around 5 minutes. The mail lady came and I didn't want to discuss something so emotional in that moment, making her uncomfortable so I paused. Somehow, the frame got added to the first half in editing but, since I'm new to editing videos, I'm not sure how I did that.

Romans 8:28-30 ESV
28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
Foreknew doesn’t mean that God knew what was going to happen or who was going to do what or even the character of each person who didn’t exist yet (even if he does, that's not what the word means in this passage). It’s talking about God’s established relationship with those whom he has determined to conform into the image of his Son. "Foreknew" should be translated as "already knows".
Predestined doesn't mean that God decided from before Creation that Joe was going to Hell and John was going to Heaven. It means that God made a plan to transform all who would believe in Yeshua into living images of Yeshua.
