Romans 4:4-5 ESV
Forgiveness of sins and eternal life are gifts of God, granted by his grace alone. Nobody can buy or work their way into eternal life. Eliezer, Ishmael, and Isaac make a great illustration of God's plan.
Eliezer was Abraham's chief servant. He worked for Abraham his whole life, helping him build his wealth and watch out for his family. If Abraham had died without children, Eliezer would have been his heir according to the traditions of man. He was a faithful servant, but his inheritance would have been the wages of his own efforts.
Ishmael was Abraham's firstborn son according to the flesh. However, he was also the son of a slave. If Abraham had not had another son by a free wife, Ishmael would have inherited God's covenant as Abraham's firstborn, displacing Eliezer, in accordance with the laws of both man and biology.
Isaac was a child of promise, conceived through miraculous intervention. Sarah's time in Abimelech's house might cast a shadow over Isaac's right of inheritance as Abraham's biological son, but God's decree overrides anything man might do. Isaac inherited the covenant promises of Abraham because God intervened and made it happen, apart from any natural or man-made law, and Abraham believed him.
This is an image of our salvation, which is granted by divine intervention according to our belief in God's promises.

SYNOPSIS: I was in my devotional this week in the prophet Yesha’yahu (Isa). This topic came into my spirit this week from that devotional. YEHOVAH states HE loves justice. We are living in some very difficult times. One thing I know we can count on, is that YEHOVAH ELOHIM does not change. In Yesha’yahu 61:8 "For I, YEHOVAH, love justice;”. We are going to study this topic today to see how it affects the world, countries, families and individuals. <br />

When it comes to the word revival, we as believers who hold to a Biblical worldview must be cautious how we use and define this word. A true revival, according to Scripture, has proper preaching, proper explanation of God’s word, the confession of sins, and repentance to the gospel. A revival can occur in the consciences of a group of people, or in the conscience of one person. Finally, a true revival is not just a one-time event, or an exclusively emotional experience. Let us learn today to be a people when we discuss the concept of revival to do so with what ELOHIM has revealed in Scripture, and not from opinions, logical presuppositions, or theological positions, but with true biblical understanding.<br />

Romans 8:28-30 ESV
28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
Foreknew doesn’t mean that God knew what was going to happen or who was going to do what or even the character of each person who didn’t exist yet (even if he does, that's not what the word means in this passage). It’s talking about God’s established relationship with those whom he has determined to conform into the image of his Son. "Foreknew" should be translated as "already knows".
Predestined doesn't mean that God decided from before Creation that Joe was going to Hell and John was going to Heaven. It means that God made a plan to transform all who would believe in Yeshua into living images of Yeshua.
