SYNOPSIS: Emotions can be good or bad. Does the bible speak about controlling our emotions? In today’s lesson we are going to study mind control in relation to our emotions. Can satan control your emotions? What are our emotions? Why are they so significant? What happens to our soul if we don’t control our emotions? What happens if we are too emotional? What happens if we are not emotional at all? What is the first emotion in the bible? <br />

B’resheet (Gen) 3:1-6 enter in the emotion of coveting. Eze. 28:11-15 he lost control of his emotions. B’resheet (Gen) 3:8-11 next emotion fear. Y’hoshua (Jos) 1:1-9 don't be afraid or downhearted. Psalm 37:8 three emotions that lead to sin. Psalm 20:7 some trust in things of the world. 2nd Timothy 1:7 We don’t have a spirit of fear. A song about the inward struggle of knowing to do good, but doing the opposite.
Based on Romans 7:
"For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am of the flesh, sold under sin. For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.
So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin."

Or do you not know, brothers—for I am speaking to those who know the law—that the law is binding on a person only as long as he lives? For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. Related passages from the Old Testament (re the High Priest and levirate marriage) as well as the Greek word for a woman "which has a husband" (KJV) in Romans 7:2 shed significant light on Paul's meaning in this passage. Here's a hint: It does not say that the Law dies or that the commandments in the Law are not for all Christians today. It's about authority relationships, not the applicability of Torah.

Paul and John said that the Law defines sin, so how is it possible for people who have never known the Law to be guilty of sin? Actually, all people know enough of the Law to be guilty of breaking it. The Law is in our DNA and all people know most of it without ever having to be told.

SYNOPSIS: When people don’t see all-out war in their land for a generation. They always forget about GOD. What causes this to happen? What causes people from every tribe and tongue on the whole planet to forget ELOHIM when there is peace? In today’s HaShabbat lesson we are going to study ways not to forget. In Israel they have 3 secular memorial days to try and help the people not forget who they belong to. Yom HaShoah - Holocaust Remembrance Day, Yom Ha’atzmaut - Memorial Day- to remember fallen soldiers and civilians of terror attacks, and Independence Day. We will ask the question of them, did it work? Do you remember where your help come from? Or did the people of The Land recently say what there forefathers said over 2000 years ago?<br />

HASHABBAT LESSON: Reminders. Kohelet (Ecc) 1:9 there is nothing new. 1Sh’mu’el (Sam) 8:1-22 we want to be like the Goyim. Yechezk'el (Eze) 33:1-13 the job of the congressman. D’varim (Deut) 4:1-2 Biblical mathematics. B’midbar (Num) 15:38-40 a reminder for the men. Luke 22:16-19 Remember what I did for you. D’varim (Deut) 6:4-9 write them on the door-frames of your house and on your gates. Jude 1:3-6 reminders on who to trust. B’midbar (Num) 10:9 this is a very important reminder it might save your life.<br />

We must examine ourselves before taking the bread and wine. Take a step back and examine what just happened with Easter Sunday. Look at the rituals and match them against what the Bible really says to do. Did your Easter services mention anything about examining yourselves? Did you take the bread and wine?
